Our practice is limited to medical and surgical gynecology and includes both office and surgical services. We strive to offer our patients the highest technological advances in a caring and supportive atmosphere.

In addition to adult gynecology, Dr. Mulchahey is also trained in the area of pediatric and adolescent gynecology. Visiting a gynecologist can be an uneasy experience for a child or teenager. Dr. Mulchahey's warm and gentle approach combined with her specialized training in working with young patients ensures the patient a comfortable, positive experience.

Both Drs. Hecht and Mulchahey have an interest and training in advanced pelvic floor reconstruction and incontinence problems.  For seventeen years, the doctors performed successful surgery using LASER technology and advanced laparoscopic surgical techinques.  The doctors have retired from doing hospital surgery, and if surgery is necessary, will consult and assist the patient on selection of an

appropriate surgical specialist.

Minor surgical services, such as Hysteroscopy, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy and LEEP (for diagnosis and treatment of abnormal pap smears) are available in our office. We also offer Transvaginal Ultrasound and Sonohysterograms.





Urogynecology

Loss of bladder control can be one of the most embarrassing situations a woman can experience. Our approach to the treatment of patients with urinary incontinence is enhanced by our sensitivity to the significance of the problem. Both surgical and non-surgical treatment of incontinence gives our patients many options for the correction of their condition.

The inability to conceive can be stressful and upsetting for couples longing for a child. At Atlanta GYN Associates, we carefully treat each couple individually, beginning with a thorough evaluation. When we recommend treatment, it is designed to meet the couple's physical and emotional needs.
